ASN 6.2.2 Operator Training (1 day)
This training course is designed for personnel responsible for monitoring installation alarms, interpreting alerts, and determining the appropriate dispatch response. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of ASN Monitoring and its key functions, ensuring they are equipped to manage security events efficiently.

Course Topics Include:
- ASN Monitoring Overview – Understanding key features, software applications, and ASN-specific terminology.
- System Communication – Exploring the communication process between field sensors, the control panel, and the ASN Monitoring Computer.
- Alarm Management in iMonitor – Learning to interpret alarm codes, execute operator commands, and navigate monitoring functions.
- iGraphics Monitoring Functions – Utilizing graphical monitoring tools for enhanced situational awareness.
- CCTV Monitoring – Covering assessment video, surveillance video, and video retrieval using the Advantor VMS for comprehensive security monitoring.
At the conclusion of the course, participants will complete a written certification exam to validate their proficiency in monitoring and response operations.
ASN 6.2.2 Administrator Training (3 days)
The ASN Administrator Seminar is designed for personnel responsible for overseeing the ASN environment, including operator management, user credentialing, panel programming, and report generation. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the administrative functions required to effectively manage and maintain the ASN system.

Course Topics Include:
- ASN System Administration – Overview of key features, software applications, and system terminology.
- Upper-Level System Configuration – Managing ASN settings and operator roles.
- Operator Management – Building and maintaining a database of operator actions.
- Facility User Management – Issuing PINs and configuring access for facility personnel.
- Advantor Panel Programming – Understanding control panel configurations and settings.
- Report Generation & Data Backup – Creating and managing system reports for auditing and security analysis.
- Pass and ID Layout & Administration – Managing user credentials and access documentation.
Advantor Video Management System (VMS) Administration:
The ASN Administrator Seminar is designed for personnel responsible for overseeing the ASN environment, including operator management, user credentialing, panel programming, and report generation. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the administrative functions required to effectively manage and maintain the ASN system.

As part of the ASN 6.2.2 Administrator Seminar, participants will also receive training on the Advantor Video Management System (VMS), including:
- VMS Operation & Camera Configuration
- Configuring the vMX Video Wall for enhanced situational awareness
- Managing Operators and User Roles
- Reviewing the Audit Log for security oversight
- Basic System Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Prerequisite Recommendation: Students are strongly encouraged to complete the ASN 6.2.2 Operator Seminar before attending the Administrator course to ensure a solid foundation in system monitoring and response.

At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees will complete both a written and practical certification exam to demonstrate their proficiency in ASN system administration.
ASN 6.2.2 Central Station Maintenance (1 day)
This seminar is designed for personnel responsible for maintaining Advantor Systems servers, workstations, and central station communication equipment, including ASN System Administrators and Maintenance Personnel. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of system architecture, troubleshooting procedures, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

Course Topics Include:
- Head End Equipment Overview – Detailed breakdown of all Head End Database Servers, Monitoring Equipment, Communication Equipment, and Video Management Equipment.
- Theory of Operation – Understanding how central station components function together for seamless system performance.
- Troubleshooting Procedures – Step-by-step guidance on diagnosing and resolving system issues efficiently.
- Preventive Maintenance – Best practices for maintaining Advantor Systems servers, workstations, and video servers to minimize downtime.
- System Configuration & Requirements – Discussion of computer and console configurations, with a focus on AF Certified Systems.
Prerequisite Recommendation: Students are strongly encouraged to complete the ASN 6.2.2 Administrator Seminar before attending this class to ensure a solid foundation in system administration.
