Advanced System Administrator Training with Certification Course (9 days)
The Advanced System Administrator Technical Course is an intensive 9-day training program designed for personnel responsible for managing ASN Systems. This course builds upon concepts taught in the ASN System Administrator Course and the Infraguard Installation and Service Course, integrating advanced security management techniques aligned with AFI 31-101 standards. Participants will apply these concepts to their System Administrator responsibilities, ensuring a deep understanding of Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
Training Options

Course Topics Include:
- Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Overview – Understanding system components, Intrusion Detection, Access Control, Networking, and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) in an ESS environment.
- AF-Approved Sensors – Exploring sensor phenomenology used for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Access Control Systems (ACS).
- Alarm Management & Reporting – Differentiating false vs. nuisance alarms and understanding Air Force-acceptable alarm rates.
- IDS Sensor Testing – Conducting interior and exterior IDS periodic tests, following Air Force requirements.
- Security Reporting – Learning Initial/Periodic Reports, Failure/Malfunction Reports, and Vulnerability Reports.
- Operator Training Program Development – Creating and managing a local Operator Training Program to ensure personnel competency.
- Premise Control Unit Installation & Troubleshooting – Hands-on training in installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of key security components.
Advanced Technical Training (5 days)
This advanced course is tailored for personnel responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Advantor Systems field equipment. It serves as an advanced version of Advantor Systems’ panel programming classes, covering in-depth system configuration and integration topics.
Prerequisite: Attendees must have completed either the Infraguard Installation and Service Seminar or the ASN Administrator Seminar within the past two years. Participants are encouraged to submit specific questions and topics before the class for a tailored learning experience.

- Installation, Maintenance, & Troubleshooting – Advanced techniques for ensuring system reliability.
- Panel Replacement & Programming – Comprehensive procedures for panel replacement and auxiliary output wiring.

- GPS Marker Placement

- Radar Masks
- SCIF Panel Wiring & Operation – Secure facility integration and alarm system management.
- Sensor & Alarm Point Wiring – Installation of Door/Window Switches, Motion Detectors, and Audio Sensors.
- Advanced Access Control Concepts – Wiring and programming Card Readers, Access Control Devices, and CCTV Integration.
