Infraguard / Infraguard II Panel Installation and Service (3 Days)
This course is designed for system maintainers responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Advantor Systems field equipment. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on exercises, participants will develop the expertise needed to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and operation of Infraguard Panels (Version I & II) and associated components.

- Infraguard Panel Overview – Comprehensive theory of operation for Infraguard Panels (Version I & II), including key features and add-on modules.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance – In-depth techniques for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Advantor Systems field equipment.
- Communication Configurations – Understanding various panel communication setups and their applications.

- Installation & Wiring – Detailed instructions and best practices for:
- Panel mounting & chassis setup
- Board mounting & system grounding
- Panel & alarm input wiring
- Onboard encryption setup
- Expansion panels & module integration
- Field Alarm Equipment – Proper installation, testing, and wiring of field alarm components to ensure system reliability.
- Comprehensive Panel Replacement – Step-by-step procedures for replacing and configuring panels efficiently.
Hands-On Practical Training: The installation and wiring portions of this course are reinforced through practical exercises, allowing participants to apply learned concepts in a controlled environment.
At the conclusion of the course, attendees will complete a practical certification exam to validate their proficiency in Infraguard panel installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Infraguard / Infraguard II Panel Installation and Service Certification is required every two years. It is highly recommended that Operators and Administrators attend Operator and and Administrator Training every two years to become familiar with new and updated software, procedures, and/or capabilities.
