ADVANTOR SUITE FOR NETWORKS (ASN) VERSION 5.0

ASN Monitoring Operations v5 (1 day - $250)

The ASN Operator Seminar is designed for those personnel responsible for monitoring alarms (Desk Sergeants, Alarm Operators, etc.) and dispatching appropriate personnel. The course covers all functions of the ASN Monitoring Operator: Overview of ASN features, Overview of Software Applications, and Overview of ASN Terminology. Theory of Communication between field sensors and ASN Monitoring Computer via the control panel is also covered. Alarm Code Display, Operator Commands, and iGraphics.

 
ASN System Administrator v5 (2 days - $500)

The ASN Administrator Seminar is designed for those responsible for overseeing the ASN Environment; operator management, issuing PINs to Facility Users, Panel Programming, Report Generation, etc. The course covers all functions required of the ASN System Administrator, including: Overview of ASN Administrator Features, Overview of Software Applications, Overview of Terminology, ASN Upper Level System Configuration, ASN Operator Management, Building Database of Operator Actions, Ground Based Radar (GBR) Facility Setup, Advantor Panel Programming, Managing Facility Users, Generating Reports, and Data Backup. Students planning to attend the ASN 5.0 Administrator Seminar are strongly urged to attend the ASN 5.0 Operator Seminar prior to taking this class.

 
Advantor Badging / Pass & ID Operations (1 day - $250)

This training seminar provides instruction in badge creation and production processes of software administration; customized badge layout design and production are emphasized via lecture and hands-on instruction. Report generation is also discussed in this one-day seminar. Attendees are advised to bring their existing backgrounds or samples to use during the seminar.

 
Advantor Central Station Technical Maintenance (1 day - $250)

This seminar is designed for the personnel responsible for maintaining Advantor Computers (Servers and Workstations). The System Administrator and CE Shop should attend this training. The course covers: Detailed description of all Head End Monitoring Equipment, Theory of operation of all Head End Equipment, Service and troubleshooting procedures, and Preventive Maintenance. This seminar is designed for support personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of each Advantor Suite for Networks console. Configuration information and requirements are discussed for computers and consoles, particular to v5.0 Certified Systems.

 
Advantor Infraguard Installation & Service (3 days - $750)

This course provides training for alarm shop (CE) personnel responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Advantor field equipment. The course covers: Comprehensive theory of operation for the Infraguard Panel, In-depth theory of troubleshooting, Add-on modules and panels, Infraguard Panel Features, Description of different communication configurations, Theory of panel operation, Installation and Wiring, Detailed installation concepts, Detailed instruction on proper installation of field alarm equipment (Mounting, Wiring, Testing, Panel chassis, Board mounting and installation, System grounding, Panel wiring, and Alarm input wiring), Expansion Panel, Expansion Module, Troubleshooting Procedures, Maintenance Procedures, and Comprehensive Panel Replacement Procedures. Firmware and encryption modules, as well as minimum requirements to deploy in PL 1 - 3 environments and communication on certified systems are incorporated. The Installation and wiring portions of this class are enforced by several hands on practical exercises. This course is designed for system maintainers responsible for installing and servicing Advantor Infraguard panels.

 
Advantor Access Control Programming and Badging (2 days - $500)

This course provides training on access control programming for both the ASN and SF/Xi systems. SSOs, FSOs, and System Administrators responsible for restricting access to controlled areas should attend this class. The course covers: Access Control Programming, Access Levels, Creating and Managing different User Types, Cardholder Data Management, Badge Templates, and User Reports. This class incorporates a significant amount of time for hands on exercises where students can create actual badge layouts, add users to the system, and print actual IDs, Badges, Passes, etc.

 
Advanced Technical Training (5 days - $1250)

This course provides training for alarm shop (CE) personnel responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Advantor field equipment. This is an advanced version of Advantor’s panel programming classes. Attendees planning to attend this class MUST have attended at least one panel technical seminar within the past two years. Upon registration, attendees are invited to submit questions and topics they would like covered during the week long class. The course includes advance instruction on the following aspects: installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The course also covers: Panel Replacement Procedures, Auxiliary Output wiring and Programming, Ground Based Radar (GBR) integration, MSTAR Operation and Configuration, PSRS Operation and Configuration, ASN Integration and Operation, GPS Marker Placement, MSTAR Maintenance, PSRS Maintenance, SCIF panel wiring and operation, Alarm Point Sensor Wiring, Door / Window Switches, Motion Detectors, Audio Sensors, Access Control Wiring, Card Readers, and CCTV Integration. Due to the advanced nature of the class, attendance will be limited and advance registration will be required.

ASN Monitoring Operations and System Administrator v4 (3 days - $750)

This seminar begins with basic ASN monitoring skills, and culminates in more advanced System Administrator functions. Provides instruction on the Advantor plus panels, keypad usage, processing alarms, monitoring, command initiation, report generation, and graphics monitoring. Progresses into panel options programming, utilizing operator and account management/performance reports, backup procedures, and preventive maintenance.

 
Advantor Pass and ID Badging Programming (1 day - $250)

Configuration information and requirements are discussed for computers and consoles, particular to v4.0 Certified Systems.

 
Advantor Plus Technical Service (1 day - $250)

This seminar provides in-depth theory of operation, troubleshooting, and repair for the Advantor plus control panels including add-on modules, eg. LEMs. Options programming and panel wiring a lab panel are covered. Firmware and encryption modules for SCIF applications, as well as minimum requirements to deploy in PL 1 – 3 environments and communication on certified systems are incorporated. The course is designed for individuals responsible for servicing and maintaining Advantor panels.

 
Access Control (AAM4C-A/ AAM4-A) Technical Installation (1 day - $250)
Access control technology and application of Advantor’s access control panels are discussed in great detail. System operation and features, options programming and troubleshooting are covered. Applicable to ASN, SFX, or Advantor’s Access for Windows platform. For certified systems, Level 1, 2, and 3 access requirements, mantrap and operational procedures are included. The course is designed sfor individuals responsible for servicing and maintaining Advantor panels.
 
Advantor plus Base Panel Maintenance and Repair (1 day - $250)

This course provides training for alarm shop (CE) personnel responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Advantor field equipment. The following topics are covered: Advantor plus Control Panels, Theory of operation, Theory of system design, Troubleshooting, Maintenance Procedures, and In-Depth Troubleshooting. The course is designed for individuals responsible for maintaining and servicing Advantor plus Base panels.

 
Advantor Access Panel Maintenance and Repair (1 day - $250)

This course provides training for alarm shop (CE) personnel responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Advantor field equipment. The course provides instruction on: Advantor Access panel overview, Access control theory of operation, Access Control Special Configurations, Communications configuration, Communications troubleshooting, System Design and Layout, Card Reader Wiring Options Programming, Lock Power Specifications, Panel Downloads, Access Module Uploads, Maintenance Procedures, Verify operation / testing of replacement panels, and Advanced Troubleshooting. The course is designed for individuals responsible for maintaining and servicing Advantor’s Access panels.
