GENERAL FUNCTION:
100% TRAVEL
To provide installation, service, and application support for products and systems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
 |
Three year’s experience in the security installation and service industry,
or one year experience and a two years technical electronics education, with
emphasis on both digital and analog circuits.
|
 |
Sound working knowledge of the PC computer platform and Windows operating system environment.
|
 |
Strong technical skills related to the installation, repair, and servicing of security
systems equipment, including: intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, WSTI, and related equipment.
|
 |
Ability to discern color coded wiring and components.
|
 |
Strong oral and written communication skills.
|
 |
Working knowledge of low voltage circuitry.
|
 |
Problem solver; able to engage in proactive behavior and look for opportunities to solve problems.
|
 |
Basic administrative skills such as typing, faxing, scanning, copying, email (Microsoft Outlook), and phone etiquette. |
 |
Experience using power tools.
|
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
 |
Travels nationally and internationally to install, modify, service,
and repair security systems in military bases, government facilities, and businesses. |
 |
Installs and Troubleshoots IDS Devices, ACS Devices, CCTV Devices, WSTI Devices.
|
 |
Completes performance verification testing after completing installations. |
 |
Carefully and accurately completes all installation checklists, test reports,
and other paperwork and turn them into the office within time constraints specified per policy. |
 |
Monitors equipment inventory during installations.
|
 |
Redlines equipment risers and floor plan layout drawings for completed projects.
|
 |
Follows all safety procedures applicable to job site situations.
|
 |
Is “ready" at all times for emergency service trip.
|
 |
Trains customers on basic use of Advantor systems.
|
 |
Performs other duties as assigned.
|
 |
Position is 100% travel.
|
 |
Must be able to obtain Secret personnel clearance.
|
 |
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

REGIONAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN |

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Duties and responsibilities for this position include providing the Field Service Support for
Advantor customers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
 |
Knowledge and hands on experience with electronic alarm systems including CCTV equipment and associated hardware. |
 |
Knowledge and hands on experience with electronic access control systems and associated hardware. |
 |
Experience involving programming software associated with electronic alarm and access control systems. |
 |
GBR experience is a plus. |
 |
Two years of related college is a plus. |
 |
General knowledge and experience with Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2007. |
 |
Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment. |
 |
Excellent communication and customer service skills. |
 |
Must have valid driver’s license for state of employment. |
 |
Must be able to qualify to operate a motor vehicle in United States. |
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
 |
Perform routine maintenance and service repairs for customers with technical,
application and service related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access
control systems, CCTV and GBR. |
 |
Perform preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer’s recommendation
on integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and GBR. |
 |
Provide system performance analysis on the IDS operational platform. |
 |
Gather information from field in order to duplicate any reported problems in lab environment. |
 |
Provide 24 hour per day, 7 days per week emergency service capability as needed. |
 |
Provide routine updates and implement software upgrades as needed. |
 |
Provide informal end-user system operational instructions and support
in conjunction with maintenance or service visits to customer locations. |
 |
Assist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV and GBR systems
as required. |
 |
Document all calls for service, preventive maintenance requirements and
interface with technical support center as needed. |
 |
Ensure all required service documentation is completed daily and delivered to Service Department as required. |
 |
On-call service as required. |
 |
Vehicle travel is required. |
 |
Provide general maintenance and safe keeping of company vehicle. |
 |
Performs other duties as assigned. |
