ADVANTOR AWARDED $1.6 MILLION CONTRACT TO
PROVIDE INTEGRATED BASE DEFENSE SECURITY SYSTEM
FOR MEMPHIS AIR NATIONAL GUARD
MEMPHIS, TN April 14, 2008 – The 164th Air
Refueling Wing of the Memphis Air National Guard
announced today that Advantor Systems
Corporation (ASC) has been awarded the contract
to procure, install, and support the Integrated
Base Defense Security System for the new Memphis
Air National Guard Base.
The 164th Airlift Wing Relocation Program
includes the new construction and full
relocation of the Memphis Air National Guard
Base. ASC will be providing the turnkey
installation and support of the base-wide
security system to include the following
capabilities: Intrusion Detection, Access
Control, Perimeter Security, Flight Line
Security, CCTV, and Ground Based Radar.
At the center of the fully integrated system is
ASC’s Advantor Suite for Networks Version 5.0 (ASN
5.0), a USAF-approved and DCID 6/9 compliant
command and control system. ASN 5.0 is
completely scalable and flexible meaning that
the system can be sized for any number of
Intrusion Detection zones and any combination of
services (IDS, ACS, Automated Badging, and CCTV),
with the ability to expand in the future.
As the program's security system prime
contractor, ASC is leveraging its proven record
of providing fully integrated systems to over
1,000 military sites world wide. ASC’s has
designed and installed integrated systems at 43
active duty Air Force Bases, 10 Air Force
Reserve Commands, and 44 Air National Guard
Bases.
